Kathmandu, Nepal – An earthquake struck Sindhupalchowk district early this morning. According to the National Earthquake Measurement and Research Center, the tremor measured 4.2 on the Richter scale and occurred at 6:11 AM local time.
The epicenter of the earthquake was located in Sikharpur, a village within the district. No immediate reports of damage or casualties have been released.
