Rautahat: A 74-year-old man was found murdered in Gaur Municipality, Rautahat district, on Wednesday morning. The victim, identified as Anirudh Mahato of Koiri Tol, was found in a paddy field approximately 200 meters from his residence.
According to District Police Office spokesperson Dilip Ghimire, Mahato sustained fatal injuries from a sharp weapon. The police have initiated an investigation into the incident to identify and apprehend the perpetrator.
The gruesome murder has shocked the local community, and authorities are working diligently to bring the culprits to justice.
