Bharatpur: A 76-year-old man died after falling from the third floor of the old medical college in Bharatpur on Thursday morning.
Bal Bahadur Khamcha Magar, a resident of Hupsekot Rural Municipality-2, had been admitted to the hospital on Wednesday for treatment of bladder cancer. According to District Police Office Chitwan spokesperson DSP Bheshraj Rijal, Magar fell from a hospital window at around 10:40 AM.
Initial investigations suggest that Magar, who was reportedly blind, may have accidentally fallen while attempting to find a way out. Police are currently investigating the incident to determine the exact circumstances.
