Dhangadhi, Nepal: A tragic road accident occurred in Godawari Municipality on Sunday night, resulting in the death of a motorcyclist.
29-year-old Kailash Thapa, a resident of Dhangadhi, was fatally injured in a collision with a parked truck near the Pathak petrol pump. The accident happened around 1:10 AM when Thapa’s motorcycle collided with the rear of a truck traveling in the same direction.
Thapa was immediately taken to Seti Provincial Hospital but succumbed to his injuries. His fellow rider, Bhupesh Pal, suffered moderate head and leg injuries and is currently undergoing treatment.
The driver of the truck has been detained by the police for further investigation.
