Lalitpur, Nepal – A fire that broke out early this morning at Sikma Metal Intex Pvt Ltd, Hattiban located in Lalitpur-23, has resulted in a tragic loss of life. Local authorities confirmed the death of one individual whose body was discovered within the factory after the fire was extinguished.
SP Nareshraj Subedi, a spokesperson for the local police department, stated that the victim was burned beyond recognition, hindering immediate identification. Efforts are underway to determine the deceased’s identity.
The fire reportedly began around 6 am. Firefighters were dispatched to the scene and worked to contain the blaze. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
