Pokhara: A fire that broke out at Muktinath Shopping Center in Pokhara Metropolitan City-6, Nareshwar, early Wednesday morning has been extinguished.
The blaze started around 2:30 AM due to a power outage and engulfed the three-story building owned by Sujan Gahatraj of Syangja. Firefighters from the Armed Police Force Kalika Gan and the local police managed to contain the fire within an hour.
Initial estimates suggest that the damage to the shopping center amounts to approximately 15 million rupees. Authorities are currently investigating the incident to determine the exact cause of the fire and the extent of the loss.
