Hetaunda, Nepal – A fire occurred on August 9th at the minister’s quarters in Lamsure, Hetauda Sub-metropolitan City-9, Makwanpur.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Lakshmi Bhandari, the fire broke out in the meeting hall located on the upper floor of Culture, Tourism, and Cooperative Minister Bimal Thakuri’s residence. The meeting hall was reportedly isolated and caught fire unexpectedly.
The local fire brigade and police team responded promptly to the incident and successfully extinguished the flames. However, the fire caused significant damage to the minister’s quarters, resulting in the loss of four inverter batteries, one battery power supply, one Wi-Fi router, one carpet, and ten sheets of gipson.
