The fire, which started around 4 pm, was brought under control around 6 pm through the combined efforts of the police, Nepali army, locals, and fire brigades from Ramgram and Bardghat municipalities.

The incident highlights the increased risk of fires in Terai districts due to rising temperatures and strong winds. Sadly, only 2 out of the 7 local levels in the district currently have fire brigades, underscoring the need for greater fire safety infrastructure.
