A former ward president in Darchula district died on Wednesday after falling from a cliff while cutting grass. When the accident occurred, Tara Singh Daga, 50, was working at a fair in Shailyashikhar Municipality.
According to the District Police Office, Daga was a Unified Marxist Leninist (UML) party member and had been elected to represent Gwani Ward-7 in 2054 BS.
