Chitwan for Cutting Down Banana Plants

Chitwan police have apprehended four minors for vandalizing a banana plantation in Khairahani Municipality Ward No. 3. The incident occurred on May 14th, at around 11:00 pm, when a total of 315 banana plants were cut down across roughly five acres of land.

The arrested individuals are between 12 and 14 years old, according to the police. To protect their identities, officers have used aliases such as “Maganichowk (13 years),” “Holyland (14 years),” “Chaubiskothi (12 years),” and “Dhusari (14 years).”

Apprehensions took place on May 23rd. The Chitwan District Court has granted an extension for the investigation of this case, categorized as a criminal nuisance, the Chitwan Police informed.
