Four Soldiers Injured Battling Dolpa Wildfire

DOLPA, NEPAL – Four soldiers serving in the Nepali Army’s Devidatta Gan ‘A’ have been injured while engaged in firefighting efforts in Dolpa District. The incident occurred within the Mashta Bhawani Community Forest, located in the Thuliberi Municipality-4 region.

According to military spokesperson Krishna Prasad Bhandari, the injured soldiers have been transported to Dolpa District Hospital where they are currently receiving medical treatment. The specific nature of their injuries has not yet been released.

Wildfires are a recurring issue in Nepal’s mountainous regions, often exacerbated by dry conditions. The Nepali Army frequently plays a vital role in containing and extinguishing these blazes.
