A Summit Air flight from Dhangadhi to Bajhang was halted on Monday after a fuel leak was discovered in both engines. Passengers alerted the air hostess to the leak, prompting the crew to immediately shut down the engines and ground the plane.
The airport’s fire control team conducted a safety inspection. According to Summit Air employee Roshan Singh, flights will resume only after a technical team arrives from Kathmandu to perform a thorough assessment.
