Gandaki Province extended their dominance in the 8th Prime Minister’s Cup NVA Volleyball League, securing their third consecutive victory. They defeated Koshi Province in straight sets (25-21, 25-19, 25-20) at the Dasharath Rangshala covered hall on Monday.
This win follows Gandaki’s previous triumphs over departmental teams APF and Sudurpaschim Province, both victories coming in 3-0 sweeps.
Koshi, on the other hand, has yet to find their footing in the tournament, suffering their third straight loss. They previously fell to the Army and Tiptop Help Nepal, both in straight sets.
The women’s side also saw action on Monday, with two matches played. APF dominated Karnali in straight sets, while Everest Volleyball Club emerged victorious against Tribhuvan Army.
In the men’s opening match, Nepal Police Club continued the trend of clean sweeps, defeating Budhanilkantha. Tiptop Help Nepal followed suit, securing a 3-0 win over Sudurpaschim Province.
The final men’s match of the day witnessed the Army overpower departmental rivals APF in straight sets.
