Germany punched their ticket to the Euro quarterfinals this morning, defeating Denmark by a score of 2-0. The match, played at BVB Stadion Dortmund, saw both teams scoreless in the first half.

However, the deadlock was broken in the 53rd minute by German forward Kai Havertz who converted a penalty. Jamal Musiala then added an insurance goal for Germany in the 68th minute, securing their victory.

With this win, Germany advances to the quarterfinals where they will face the winner of the upcoming match between Spain and Georgia. Denmark’s journey in the Eurocup comes to an end following this defeat.
