Lalitpur: A young girl remains missing after jumping into the Bagmati River from the Chyasal Bridge in Lalitpur Metropolitan City-9. The incident occurred around 7 PM on Sunday.
Local police immediately launched a search operation after being alerted to the jump. A bag containing a note and a mobile phone were found beneath the bridge where the girl jumped. However, it remains unclear if these items belong to the missing girl or someone else.
Lalitpur Police Spokesperson SP Nareshraj Subedi stated that the search for the girl continues, but the situation remains uncertain. A team of nine people, including four divers, has been mobilized from two Disaster Rescue Teams under the command of ASI, to assist in the search efforts.
