The Government has transferred Chief Secretary Dr. Baikuntha Aryal to a special post in the National Planning Commission following corruption charges and his subsequent suspension. Communication and Information Technology Minister Rekha Sharma confirmed the decision, made during today’s cabinet meeting.
Additionally, the cabinet resolved to allocate the pending financial equalization subsidy for the fiscal year 2023-2024 to local levels. This move aims to ensure the continuation of essential services and development projects across the country.
