Hong Kong Run Target

Hong Kong, after losing the toss and being sent into bat, struggled against Nepal’s bowlers at Al Amerat Cricket Ground 1. They were ultimately bowled out for a modest 114 runs in 17.5 overs, setting a target of 115 for Nepal to chase.

Captain Nizakat Khan offered the only substantial resistance with 34 runs, but the rest of the Hong Kong batting lineup faltered. Opener Martin Coetzee (8) was the only other player to reach double figures.

Nepal’s bowling attack proved relentless, led by Abinash Bohara who claimed 3 wickets for 29 runs in his 4 overs. Lalit Rajbanshi was also impressive, taking 2 wickets for just 14 runs, including a maiden over. Dipendra Singh Airee chipped in with 2 wickets of his own, and Karan KC secured one scalp.
