Kathmandu, Nepal: In response to the tragic bus accident in Tanahu district, India’s Minister of State for Youth and Sports, Raksha Khadse, is set to visit Nepal. The minister’s primary purpose is to offer condolences to the families of the deceased and to oversee the process of repatriating the bodies of the Indian citizens who lost their lives in the accident.
On Friday, a bus carrying Indian tourists met with an accident near Aina Pahara in Anbukhaireni, resulting in the deaths of 27 people and injuries to 16 others. The bodies of the deceased are currently undergoing post-mortem examinations at Bharatpur Hospital in Chitwan.
The injured victims have been transported to Kathmandu for medical treatment and are currently receiving care at hospitals in the capital. All the victims, both deceased and injured, are from Jalgaon district in Maharashtra, India.
