Shrawan Kumar Agarwal, a prominent industrialist, and former Constituent Assembly member, passed away at the age of 77 on Monday night, August 5 at his residence in Sanepa.
Agarwal, the former president of the Marwadi Sewa Samiti, was a highly respected figure in Nepal’s industrial sector. He was the father of Rajesh Kumar Agarwal, the current president of the Confederation of Nepalese Industries, which has expressed its deep condolences on his passing.
With a 58-year career in various industries, Agarwal leaves behind a significant legacy. He is survived by his wife, two sons, and a daughter. His final rites will be performed at Pashupati Aryaghat today.
