A 23-year-old woman, Priyanka Mahato, and her 10-month-old daughter have died following a tragic incident near the railway tracks in Dhanusa’s Janakpurdham sub-metropolitan area. Ms. Mahato, originally from Mahottari district, was found burning in a pond around 8 pm. Despite being rushed to Janakpur Provincial Hospital, both she and her daughter succumbed to their injuries.
Authorities have initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding this devastating event. The bodies are currently at the Provincial Hospital Janakpur for post-mortem examinations.
