Nepal A delivered a commanding bowling performance at the TU Cricket Ground today, restricting Ireland ‘A’ to a modest 157 runs after winning the toss and electing to field. Kamal Singh Airee stole the show by claiming a sensational hat-trick in the 39th over, finishing with outstanding figures of four wickets.
Airee’s heroics were supported by Shahab Alam and Mausam Dhakal, who snagged two wickets apiece. Rijan Dhakal also contributed with a wicket.
Cade Carmichael led the scoring for Ireland ‘A’ with 51 runs. Neil Rock added 39 runs, while Peter Moore (21), Stephen Doheny (12), and James McCollum (12) chipped in with smaller contributions.
