Koshi Haraicha, Koshi Province, Nepal – Ireland Wolves continued their winning streak against Nepal A, securing a convincing 69-run victory in the third and final match of the one-day series. Nepal A, chasing a challenging target of 285 runs, was bowled out for 215 in 39.4 overs.
Arjun Kumal stood out for Nepal A, scoring a valiant century with 102 runs. Arjun Saud also contributed with 36 runs, while Naren Bhatt and Rupesh Singh added 15 runs each. However, the rest of the batting lineup could not withstand the pressure of Ireland Wolves’ bowling attack.
Ben White led the charge for the Wolves, taking a remarkable five wickets. Gavin Hoey provided excellent support, claiming four wickets.
Earlier, Ireland Wolves set the stage for victory with a strong batting performance. Opener Stephen Doheny anchored the innings with a superb century (107 runs). Peter Moor played a valuable knock of 44 runs, and there were useful contributions from Morgan Topping (21), Fiachra Hand (20), Ben White (19), and Mathew Humphreys (23).
Nepal A’s bowlers put up a fight, with Rijan Dhakal and Ranjit Kumar taking three wickets each. Bikash Agrawal and Shahab Alam also chipped in with a wicket apiece.
This victory marks a clean sweep for Ireland Wolves, who take the one-day series 3-0. The Wolves had previously won the T20 series 2-1, showcasing their dominance over Nepal A in this tour.
