Ireland Wolves clinched a dominant victory in the T20 series with a 40-run win over Nepal ‘A’ in a thrilling Saturday match at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground.
After winning the toss, Nepal ‘A’ opted to bowl first but faced a blistering Irish batting performance. Peter Joseph Moor (65 runs) and NA Rock (71 runs) powered Ireland Wolves to a formidable 224/6 in their 20 overs. Sagar Dhakal was the standout bowler for Nepal, taking 3 wickets.
Nepal ‘A’s chase faltered in the face of the massive target, eventually being bowled out for 184 in 17.5 overs. Dev Khanal (47 runs) provided resistance, but disciplined bowling from Ireland Wolves proved too much. B. White took three wickets, while T. Mayes and F. Hand claimed two each.
