A jeep accident in Dailekh district has resulted in injuries to nine passengers, with two in serious condition. The incident occurred on Friday afternoon in Narayan Municipality-5, Dhita, as the vehicle was en route to Naumule from the district headquarters.
District Police Office head DSP Sunil Dahal reported that the jeep, bearing the license plate Karnali Pradesh 02001 Cha 0787, veered off the road and plummeted 50 meters down a slope. The cause of the accident is currently under investigation.
Seven of the injured passengers, described as being in stable condition, are receiving treatment at the District Hospital in Dailekh. The two critically injured individuals have been transferred to Karnali Province Hospital in Surkhet for advanced medical care.
