Kailash Sirohiya, chairman of Kantipur Media Group, has been admitted to Kavya Hospital following a high blood pressure issue.
Sirohiya was admitted to Kavya Hospital due to high blood pressure, as reported by Dhanusha police spokesperson DSP Ranjan Awa. He is currently receiving treatment at the well-equipped facility, which was chosen for his comfortable stay.
DSP Awa explained to Media, “We took him to the provincial hospital at night after diagnosing high blood pressure. He was then referred to Kavya Hospital for further treatment.” He added that Sirohiya will be detained again once his health stabilizes.
Sirohiya was apprehended at the Kantipur Media Group office in Kathmandu for investigation, authorized by the Dhanusha District Court. After being brought to Dhanusha on Tuesday night, the court extended the police detention deadline by three days, and on Friday, granted an additional three days for further investigation.
