Incessant rain has triggered landslides, completely blocking the Kaligandaki Corridor, a major national pride project. The road was obstructed on Monday evening due to a landslide in Dablyang, Baglung Municipality-10.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Bijay Yadav confirmed the blockage, stating that both long and short-distance vehicles have been halted. Due to the ongoing rainfall, road-clearing efforts have been postponed until the weather improves.
This disruption has cut off transportation between the district headquarters and South Baglung. The landslide has severely damaged the road, which had only recently reopened after a previous blockage last week.
