Sudurpaschim Province Chief Minister Kamal Bahadur Shah is set to face a vote of confidence on Wednesday, August 14. Shah, who assumed office on August 4, has formally requested the Provincial Assembly Secretariat to arrange for the confidence vote.
Speaker Bhim Bahadur Bhandari confirmed receiving the request and stated that the necessary arrangements are being made. The exact timing of the vote has yet to be determined.
Chief Minister Shah, who was appointed with the support of the Nepali Congress and CPN-UML, plans to present the annual budget after successfully securing the vote of confidence.
