A man from Nagarjun Municipality-6, Kathmandu, has died following a car accident early this morning.
The incident occurred around 2:30 am in Ramkot, Nagarjun Municipality-6, when a car with Bagmati Province license plate number 027 Cha 0491 veered off the road and plunged down the culvert of the Chhamchhame river.
The victim, identified as Purna Darnal, a resident of Nagarjun Municipality-6 Kharibot, was extricated from the wreckage by emergency personnel at approximately 5:30 am. He was transported to Manmohan Memorial Hospital but was declared dead by doctors at 6:00 am.
The cause of the accident is currently under investigation by the Kathmandu District Police Complex.
