The Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) is cracking down on illegal structures! On Sunday, crews used bulldozers to demolish houses and towers encroaching on the three-cornered Bagmati Corridor. This follows similar action taken in the Gaushala area, where encroachments on the road were also removed.
The KMC has recently ramped up its efforts to reclaim public spaces and enforce building codes. These demolitions aim to clear the Bagmati Corridor and Gaushala area for potential development projects, while also promoting safety and proper urban planning.
