In response, Lucknow crumbled, managing only 137 runs in 16 overs. Marcus Stoinis’ 36 runs were the highest for Lucknow, while Kolkata’s Naveen Ul Haq claimed 3 wickets. This win propels Kolkata to the top of the table with 16 points. Lucknow slips to fifth position with 12 points.
Chennai Edges Out Punjab
In an earlier match, Chennai Super Kings held their nerve to defeat Punjab Kings by 28 runs. Batting first, Chennai posted a challenging 167 runs, with Ravindra Jadeja contributing a crucial 43 runs.
