Former Prime Minister KP Oli, also the Chairman of the CPN-UML, has stepped down from his role in the party’s General Convention Representatives Council citing health concerns.
Ishwar Pokharel, the General Secretary of the UML, confirmed that Oli had to withdraw from the ongoing session of the Representatives Council due to his deteriorating health condition. With Oli’s departure from the proceedings due to illness, senior vice-chairman Pokharel assumed the chairmanship and continued with the meeting.
