Krystyna Pyszková of the Czech Republic has been crowned Miss World 2024, marking the pageant’s return to India after 28 years. The glittering grand finale took place at Mumbai’s Jio World Convention Centre.
India’s own Sini Shetty, winner of Femina Miss India 2022, made a strong showing but ultimately exited the competition after reaching the top eight among 112 global contestants.
The final four – Pyszková, Yasmin Azaytoun (Lebanon), Aché Abrahams (Trinidad & Tobago), and Lesego Chombo (Botswana) – faced a unique challenge: pitching their ideas to a panel of Shark Tank judges. Pyszková’s presentation ultimately secured her the coveted title.
