The Besisahar-Chame road has been completely blocked due to a landslide triggered by heavy rainfall in Lamjung district. The incident occurred at Kharkhere Bhir in Besisahar Municipality-6 on Wednesday morning.
This is a recurring issue in the area, with landslides reported multiple times in the past. The road section is particularly vulnerable due to its proximity to the Marsyangdi River, which poses additional risks.
The road closure has disrupted travel and transportation for residents of Manang and Lamjung districts, causing significant inconvenience.
