Dhading: A passenger vehicle was partially buried in a landslide near the Nagdhunga-Sisne Khola tunnel on the Kathmandu-Mugling-Kathmandu road section. The incident occurred at Naubise in Dhading district.
The landslide, which fell from above the road, blocked both sides of the highway. While a Scorpio vehicle was damaged in the landslide, there were no reported injuries.
Rescue efforts are underway to remove the partially buried vehicle using equipment from the tunnel construction site. The road remains closed due to the landslide, and authorities estimate that it will take at least two hours to reopen it.
An eyewitness, Bibek Bhandari, reported that local residents fled their homes as the landslide continued.
