A primary school in the eastern region of Makwanpur district has been damaged due to a landslide. The Kolkhop Primary School, located in Bakaiya Rural Municipality-12, suffered damage on Tuesday as a result of heavy rainfall.
According to local authorities, two classrooms of the school were destroyed in the landslide. The incident occurred at 6 PM on Tuesday, but reports were not received until the following day.
The furniture, files, and a portion of the school’s toilet were also damaged in the landslide.
