Four people are missing after a landslide struck Kkwholasothar Rural Municipality-3, Lamjung district, on Tuesday night. The landslide reportedly washed away three houses, according to District Police Office Lamjung DSP Min Bahadur Ghale.
Authorities received reports of the landslide at 5:30 am on Wednesday. A team comprised of personnel from the Nepal Army, Armed Police Force, and Nepal Police has been deployed to the location for search and rescue operations.
Communication in the affected area is limited due to poor phone reception, hindering efforts to gather further details. Rain is also reported to be falling in the area, potentially complicating rescue efforts.
