Chitwan: A section of the Prithvi Highway has been obstructed due to landslides in two locations within Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality on Wednesday morning.
The landslides occurred around 7 am in Chumlingtar and Mauwakhola, causing traffic disruptions in both directions at Chumlingtar and one-way blockage at Mauwakhola.
Chitwan District Police Office spokesperson DSP Bhesraj Rijal has confirmed the incident and stated that efforts are underway to clear the road and restore traffic flow.
The landslides have caused significant inconvenience to travelers on this major highway.
