Kathmandu, Nepal – Adventure enthusiasts gear up for the Late Babu Chiri Sherpa Memorial Open Sport Climbing Competition, 2024, set to begin on March 15th in Kathmandu. The two-day event, to be held at the Crimpanzee Adventure Hub, promises exciting displays of skill and athleticism.

The competition is a collaborative effort between the Nepal Climbing Sport Association (NCSA) and the New York-based Alpine Sports Association, INC. This partnership aims to foster the growth of adventurous alpine sports globally.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed in Kathmandu between Santosh Maden, General Secretary of the NCSA, and Nawang Nima Sherpa, President of the Alpine Sports Association, solidifying their commitment to the event.
