Siraha, September 8: Police in Siraha have arrested a man with 290 kilograms of cannabis. The arrested individual, Pradip Mukhiya, is a 37-year-old resident of Karjanha Municipality Ward 11.
According to Siraha Police Spokesperson DSP Muktinath Sapkota, the police conducted a raid on Sunday afternoon and seized the marijuana hidden behind the house of Sobha Kumari Sah in the village. The confiscated cannabis was found in 19 plastic bags.
Mukhiya has been detained at the Mirchaiya Area Police Office, and further investigations are ongoing.
