In Nijgadh Municipality, Bara, a 34-year-old man named Dipendra Majhi was arrested for attempting to use counterfeit Indian rupees at a local market.
Majhi, a resident of Baragadhi Rural Municipality, was found with two fake 1,000 rupee notes and 2,000 additional rupees in counterfeit currency.
Police are conducting a further investigation into the matter.
