A fishing trip on the Narayani River in East Nawalparasi turned deadly for 28-year-old Sunil Rana Magar. Magar, a resident of Gaindakot rural municipality ward 14, drowned in the river near Dobhanghat.
District Police Office, East Nawalparasi, informed by Deputy Superintendent of Police Bed Bahadur Paudel, launched a search operation after reports of Magar going missing. Sadly, the search efforts ended in the discovery of Magar’s body.
Magar had reportedly gone fishing on the Narayani River. When he failed to return home late at night, authorities were notified, and the search began.
