One person, 31-year-old Dhanjit Rai, died from stab wounds on Saturday at 8:30 pm in Diktel Rupakot Majhuwagadhi Municipality-11.
The incident occurred in a local maize field owned by Bhim Bahadur Rai. Police Inspector Benu Karki, the spokesperson for the District Police Office Khotang, reported that three individuals involved in the stabbing are currently on the run.
Efforts to apprehend the suspects are underway, with police teams led by Police Inspector Karki and Assistant Inspectors Shiva Prasad Ghimire and Shiva Niraula from Jalpa and Talkharka police stations respectively.
