Siraha: A 28-year-old man was found dead in a drain in Siraha district on Friday.
The deceased has been identified as Nitesh Kamati, a resident of Kalyanpur Municipality-1, Arnama. His body was discovered in a drain along the East-West Highway in Mirchaiya Municipality-6.
Local authorities have sent the body to Siraha Provincial Hospital for a post-mortem examination to determine the cause of death.
According to local reports, the man was seen wandering near the drain around 9-10 AM on Friday. He was found unconscious and later pronounced dead.
Police are currently investigating the incident. Further details are awaited.
