A 59-year-old man has died following a domestic assault by his wife in Namobuddha Municipality-5, Kanpur. The victim has been identified as Dhanbir Damai.
According to District Police Office spokesperson, Deputy Superintendent of Police Raj Kumar Shrestha, 40-year-old Kamala Pariyar is accused of fatally beating her husband. The incident occurred around 9:30 am on Saturday.
Shrestha reported that Pariyar was intoxicated at the time of the assault. Authorities have initiated a full investigation into the matter.
