Gorkha: The popular Mankamana cable car service will be temporarily closed on Saturday and Sunday to manage the increased influx of visitors during the Dashain festival.
Ujwal Sherchan, Deputy Manager of Mankamana Darshan Pvt. Ltd., announced that the cable car would be non-operational for two days. However, it will be open to the public again on Monday.
To further alleviate congestion, the cable car service will be closed once more from October 15th to 17th. Regular operations are expected to resume on October 18th.
The decision to close the cable car during peak periods aims to ensure a more efficient and enjoyable experience for visitors.
