Mods are an important part of the PC community, as they allow ideas that are out of the hands of developers to become reality. During its launch, Marvel Rivals enjoyed a large number of mods focused on changing the visual style of the characters. However, with the arrival of the first season, this was banned, and those who attempt to install mods risk having their accounts banned.
With the arrival of the first season, NetEase modified its terms and conditions, noting that anyone caught using any mod, or cheating, will be banned. However, this has not stopped the community from trying. This is what NetEase told IGN in an official statement:
“It is not recommended to modify any game files, as doing so carries the risk of being banned.”
On Nexus Mods, one mod in particular, which transforms Mr. Fantastic into Luffy, has been downloaded more than five thousand times. Its creators, as well as other content creators, warn of possible bans, and ask the public to download these suits at their own risks.
