A massive fire has broken out at the central store of the Armed Police Force in Satungal, Kathmandu. The cause of the blaze, which is currently being fought by teams from both the Armed Police and Nepal Police, remains unknown.
District Police Complex Kathmandu spokesperson, SP Navaraj Adhikari, confirmed that the fire is centered in a section of the store where various goods are kept, including clothing items.
This incident follows an earlier fire at the Armed Police Force headquarters, which damaged a store containing important documents.
The Armed Police Force has indicated that clothing, shoes, mattresses, socks, and other supplies are stored in the burning warehouse. They suspect the cause of the fire may be an electrical short circuit. Four fire engines are actively working to contain the fire.
