Pokhara Avengers have strengthened their squad for the upcoming Nepal Premier League (NPL) by signing English all-rounder Matt Critchley. The 28-year-old is a seasoned T20 player, having represented teams in the Vitality Blast, The Hundred, and the Big Bash League.
Critchley brings a wealth of experience to the team, having played 141 T20 matches, scoring 1,973 runs and taking 120 wickets. With this signing, Pokhara has completed its quota of four foreign players.
The other foreign players in the Pokhara squad are:
- Andries Gous (USA)
- Bas de Leede (Netherlands)
- Anderson Phillip (West Indies)
The team is also led by national team opener Kushal Bhurtel and coached by former Chennai Super Kings assistant coach Rajiv Kumar. Legendary fielder Jonty Rhodes has been appointed as a three-year mentor.
Pokhara now needs to sign one more player through the talent hunt process to complete their 16-player squad.
