On Monday, two members of the hooligan faction led by Yuvaraj Gurung, known as Sanubhai, were granted bail despite facing charges related to attempted murder and extortion.

The Kathmandu District Court Judge Mahendra Raj Kafle, on February 15, issued the release order for the accused pair, Bisu Tamang, also recognized as ‘Thate’ or ‘Biswo,’ and Shailendra Tamang, alias ‘Marshal.’ The charges against them stemmed from their alleged involvement in the attempted murder of a young individual at the Playboy Club in Thamel.

Following the submission of the required bail amount to the court, the duo was released. It’s worth noting that CCTV footage captured the presence of seven individuals during the incident, including Sanubhai, Kamal Tamang, Sher Bahadur Paudel, Binod Tamang, and Raghu Tamang, in addition to Biswo and Marshal. However, the whereabouts of the others, as of now, remain unknown as they are currently evading authorities.
