An incident at Talcha Airport in Mugu, Nepal, injured the station chief, Dhirendra Bham.
According to Chief District Police Office Mugu’s Birendra Thapa, Bham collided with a Sita Air plane while on the ground. Thankfully, the plane itself was not involved in the collision.
Nepal Civil Aviation Authority sources at Talcha believe Bham slipped and fell near the plane as it approached following communication with the pilot.
Bham was treated for his injuries at a Nepalgunj hospital after being transported by the same Sita Air plane.
An investigation is likely to determine the exact cause of the mishap.
